A hall with a stage that transforms: workshop in the morning, performance in the evening, celebration on the weekend. We embraced the architecture and took it further with the design. Flexible furniture, lighting for every scenario, integrated AV technology, and acoustics that are part of the design turn one room into many rooms.
One space, many stages.
One hall, four scenarios.
A concert in the evening, a workshop in the morning, an exhibition at the weekend. We proposed furniture that supports all uses: the stackable wooden Theo Chair and the folding Theo Folding Table. Chairs line up in front of the stage or around the tables, while tables join together to form groups or a long banquet table. Whatever is not needed at the moment disappears stacked and folded into storage behind the stage. In this way, the hall transforms into a different space in no time.
Calm you can see.
A hall for music and conversation needs calm. Acoustically effective baffles on the ceiling absorb the sound and become the defining element of the room. For the design, we wrote our own algorithm: it varies the rotation, spacing, and length of the baffles and allows us to compare many variations in a short time. The chosen shape follows the supporting structure, finishes flush with the beams, and gives the hall a calm movement.
