Bruno Munari, an important designer, artist and author, once said: "Before a problem can be solved, it must be understood". We firmly believe in this and attach great importance to listening carefully from the outset and recognising what is not said.
For us, creativity and individuality take centre stage: every project begins with a great deal of passion and the openness of a blank sheet of paper. We follow a clear vision and strong values that give each project an unmistakable and authentic identity.

The history of Studio Nicotra
Studio Nicotra was founded in 2022 by Alessandro Nicotra with the vision of revolutionising architecture and setting new standards. In the first two years, Alessandro was already able to realise significant and impressive projects.
Alessandro trained as a structural draughtsman and then studied interior design at the SUPSI in Lugano. He also specialised as a lighting designer at the ZHAW Winterthur. Further training in construction management and construction law has further honed his profile. His passion for computer science and architecture still characterises his work today - he develops algorithms that are used in manufacturing, simulation and design, for example. Alessandro is also a keen racing cyclist and attaches great importance to sustainability.
Andrea Lehner joined the team in 2024. Andrea studied facility management and then specialised in organisational and process development. She has also completed further training in the areas of customer-centred transformation, innovation and design thinking. She is also a keen racing cyclist and does improv theatre on the side. Efficiency is a must for her.
Andrea and Alessandro form a team that goes beyond traditional arithmetic, because for them 1+1 does not simply add up to 2. With their different personalities, they complement each other perfectly. Their success is based on courageously taking risks, exploring new ways of thinking and constantly questioning existing conventions. In this way, they create innovative and sustainable solutions that confirm the success of their studio time and time again.
